We had an amazing dining experience at Cloud Naan and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic and flavorful South Asian food. We tried the nihari and butter chicken both were outstanding in their own way. The nihari was rich, comforting, and well-spiced, clearly cooked with care and tradition. The butter chicken, however, was on another level incredibly creamy, perfectly balanced, and honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long time. It’s definitely a must-try dish here. What truly elevated the whole experience was the hospitality. Pepe deserves a special mention he is an exceptionally warm, friendly, and genuinely kind person. From the moment we walked in, he made us feel welcomed, always greeting with a smile and checking in to make sure everything was perfect. His attitude towards guests adds a personal touch that really sets this place apart. The overall service was attentive without being intrusive, and the staff made sure we were comfortable throughout our meal. The food was amazing and flavorful. The service, vibe and decor were all awesome. Small, cute neighborhood spot Everyone was warm, welcoming and friendly. The lunch special from 11 to 3pm. Is daily, which I love that they offer it on weekends. Great deal. This will now be our new go to spot.

I went there first time and ordered a Beef Kabob Naan roll, when my order came, it looks free good,after tasting I noticed that it has a lot of salt, note that I use extra salt than normal, I told this to the management and hopefully they will correct it, I also ordered a Chicken Biryani and mix Tandoori Plate to go. I got shocked when I saw that they charge me a hefty $26 for a Chicken Biryani, I told them that's the most expensive Chicken Biryani I ever bought, they claim that there serving size is bigger than other restaurants, I ask them to open and show it to me, which they did and I told them that this is regular serving size which other restaurants serve in $8 less,I don't know how it taste, I will try it tonight. There metal chairs are not comfortable. Service was extremely slow and note that I was the only guest in the restaurant. I won't go there again and I don't recommend this place to anyone. Also, check you receipt carefully, they charge $4.95 service charge.

I came here on a friend’s recommendation after checking out the ratings, and I’m so glad I did. The entrance was simple, with a temporary name board, so I wasn’t sure what to expect—but the moment I walked into Cloud Naan – Urban Desi BBQ, I was pleasantly surprised. The interior was beautifully and colorfully decorated with traditional Pakistani truck art. I absolutely loved the vibrant truck-inspired decor—the channaks, umbrellas, and the little boards featuring fun, classic quotes you’d typically see on the back of trucks. It truly felt authentic and full of character. We ordered the butter chicken and Lahori fish. While we were waiting to break our fast, the staff kindly offered complimentary samosas and dates, which was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. The food took a little while to come out, but let me tell you—it was completely worth the wait. The butter chicken totally blew me away. I’ve tried so many different versions of butter chicken and chicken tikka masala over the years, but this was by far the best. It's like stepping into a restaurant in lahore. Not just the food, the ambiance and the service is impeccable. Very generous and courteous The place is clean and there is plenty of parking. Food is halal, wholesome, clean and delicious We got the Lahori fish, biriyani , Chaplin kabab and naan. Every single item was precariously prepared and as authentic to Pakistani cuisine as can be. Biriyani is currently the best you can get in OC. Lahori fish reminded me of Darulmahi. chapli kabab reminded me of cavalry ground phaatak.
